Through a Glass Darkly

The harsh northern landscapes build an architecture for the portrayed figures caught in a moment of reflection and radiating dreaminess. Inspired by close-ups and film scenes mostly from scandinavian movies directed by Ingmar Bergman and Liv Ullman, but also Kassovitz and Fassbinder.

The size of the oil paintings varies between 200 cm x 200 cm and 160 cm x 140 cm.
