Eine Comicgeschichte vor dem Hintergrund der „Troubles“ in Nordirland. Nora und Julia wohnen in einem mittelalterlichen Turm an der Küste Nordirlands. Die Dorfbewohner des idyllischen Ortes heißen Fremde willkommen. Doch nach einer Weile stellen sie fest, dass die Pubs und die Dorfbewohner streng nach Katholiken und Protestanten getrennt sind und die alten sozialen Strukturen trotz der hübschen Oberfläche unverändert geblieben sind.

In Noras artist residency she and her friend Julia stay at a medieval tower at the coast of Northern Ireland.
The village inhabitants of the idyllic place are welcoming strangers. The girls attend sheep auctions and get matched up with lonely sons at the local pub. But after a while they realize that the pubs and the villagers are strictly divided into Catholics and Protestants, and the old social structures remain unchanged despite the pretty surface.
